Cliff’s Testimonial

For many years, Sue Williard has been a good personal friend, leader of our folk-dance community, treasured teacher and role-model for young, middle-aged, and old.  She is universally admired and loved, not just for her obvious abilitiesin the fields of folk music and dance, but for her eagerness to share those abilities with others and her joy at participating with them in the process of learning to give oneself up to the experience of moving to music.

Recently, Sue has had the experience of assisting her family and friends in coping with the grief associated with losing a loved one, either through prolonged illness or death. I believe that her natural proclivities to share her musical talents with our community have helped her to ease the anxieties and suffering of those who have called upon her for help.  In addition to her musical interests, Sue has a natural ability to organize and deal with life’s paperwork; she has been instrumental in helping both surviving loved-ones and disorganized paper-savers (among whom I count myself) make sense out of chaos.

Sue is a wonder to work with, a sensitive and loving human being, and a gift to those who are lost in the maze of record-keeping.  I heartily recommend her for any job you may have for her; she is honest, direct and caring – I would trust her with my most intimate feelings and records.
